1. Is IBI accredited?
Not yet. A new school cannot even apply for accreditation for two years. We
hope to be accredited as soon as we are eligible – realistically in the spring of
2007. We do have assurance from several colleges, that they will accept our
classes and degrees:
Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, Pineville KY
Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Watertown, WI
Hannibal LaGrange College, Hannibal, MO
Mid-Continent University, Mayfield, KY
Others are still reviewing our material
2. When are classes?
Monday and Thursday evenings: 4:00pm, and 7:00pm
3. Where are the classes held?
At East Tipp Baptist Church. Two miles east of S.R. 25 on C.R. 300 North
4. How much does it cost?
Tuition is $70.00 per credit hour, or $210 per class. There is a $20 fee with
the admissions application. The cost of books varies, but averages about
$50.00 per class.
5. Is financial aid available?
There are limited scholarship funds for those who are pastoring in the
Wabash Valley Association. A payment plan is available for students taking
at least six hours (two classes). Application is being made with the Commission
on Proprietary Education to allow eligible students to receive VA Educational
Assistance funds at IBI. This approval may be granted in time for the spring
‘06 semester.
6. Can I register for classes after the January 2nd deadline?
Registration for courses after that date may be accepted at the discretion of the
college, and will incur a $20.00 late fee.
7. Who are the teachers?
All of our faculty have at least a Master’s Degree and are qualified to teach in
their field.
